Kathmandu
Kathmandu, the flamboyant capital of Nepal, is not just a conglomeration of sophisticated hotels and lavish shopping malls, but also a heritage city, embellished with an array of renowned historical, cultural and religious landmarks. Be it the pious Hindu shrine of Pasupatinath, the mammoth stupa of Boudhanath or a monumental display of artistic ancient palaces of Basantapur Durbar Square, they all have made their way to the UNESCO’s world heritage list. Exploring these famed historical and cultural emblems, gets you acquainted to Nepal’s enticing history and culture.
Pokhara
Trekking in the Annapurna Conservation Area Project is easily the biggest attraction around Pokhara, but you don’t have to be a seasoned trekker to appreciate the glory of the peaks. There are several dramatic viewpoints on the rim of the Pokhara Valley that can be reached by foot, taxi, mountain bike or rented motorcycle from Pokhara. Far from the earthquake epicenter, and almost unaffected by the disaster, Pokhara ticks all the right boxes, with spectacular scenery, adventure activities, accommodation and food choices galore. Whether you’ve returned from a three-week trek or endured or endured a congested bus trip, the Lakeside Pokhara is the perfect spot for you to get rejuvenated. The scene is a chilled-out version of Thamel, stretching along the shore of a tranquil ‘Phewa Lake’ with bobbing paddle boats. From the lake, and possibly even from your hotel bed, you can enjoy a clear view of the snow-capped mountains, which seem enticingly close. There’s much more to Pokhara than its laid-back charm. It also boasts a booming adventure sports industry; it is arguably the best paragliding venue on the globe and is surrounded by white-water rivers. There's a fascinating museum dedicated to the world-famous Gurkha soldier. And last but not least, it’s the gateway to the world-famous treks in and around the Annapurna range and beyond.
Chitwan
If you are little overdone with the hills and mountains of Kathmandu and Pokhara, you can drive all the way to the forest -clad plains of Chitwan, almost as flat as a pancake! Yes, sweltering heat and hot air could pester you a bit, but, if you have the toughness to endure them, you will find Chitwan like a heaven in the wilds. The Chitwan National Park is an abode to a number of exotic species of floras and faunas. An array of jungle activities like- elephant safari, jungle walk, canoeing etc. will certainly evoke the bubbly and wild side of you.

Nagarkot
Nagarkot is a picturesque hill station about an hour’s drive away from Kathmandu. A much favored summer camp of the former Royals, Nagarkot is blessed with jaw-dropping natural beauty and incredible mountainous vistas. Staying in one of the finest resorts here, you can relish the views of some of the tallest snow clad giants in the world- including the mightiest Mt. Everest, sample the wide range of menus in the opulent restaurants, simultaneously breathing the fresh air of the hills.
