1. Walls of Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik

One of the most famous tourist attraction and destination of many celebrities is definitely city Dubrovnik. When you ask someone did they heard for Croatia, they will probably answered that they've been to Dubrovnik. It is one of the most recognizable Croatian labels. Dubrovnik is famous because of his big walls which surround whole city, length of 2 kilometers, which are built from 13. till 17. century for the purpose of defense.

2. Golden cape / Golden horn, island Brač

Croatian most beautiful sandy beach. Every summer is home of million tourist which came only to sun there and to swim in crystal clear sea (Croatia is one of the leading countries according to the clear sea!). But the exact shape and length of the land form varies with regard to changes in tide, current and wind. The farthest end, which is usually turned slightly towards the east, will often shift to the west in certain weather conditions when the wind is (known in Croatia as the “jugo”.

3. Blue cave / Blue grotto, island Biševo

Amazing Croatian attraction located on the island Biševo, actually in a small bay called Ball. The grotto is one of the best known natural beauty spots on the Adriatic and a popular show cave because of the glowing blue light that appears at certain times of day. The natural entrance to the cave, located on its southern side, is said to resemble a vault on the ceiling of a grotto. It is through this submarine-like opening on the ceiling of the cave that sunlight gets in and creates an iridescent blue glowing effect all around the cave.

4. Diocletian palace, Split

UNESCO's heritage Diocletian palace forms the basis of the city Split. Palace was built around 300. years during regency of car Diocletian. With its shape palace looks like military camp of rectangular shape. The palace was defined by walls because Salon (what was the nearest city) was 6km away. At each end are doors, but the most beautiful decorated and fascinate are doors facing to the sea, which now faces the main promenade called Riva, while in Diocletian time there wasn't promenade and sea was very near t the doors.

5. National park Krka Waterfalls, Å ibenik

National park Krka is one of the Croatian national parks and most visited one, named after the river Krka that encloses it. Best things to visit in national park Krka are:

Skradinski buk is one of the most attractive parts of the park. It is a massive, clear, natural pool with high waterfalls at one end and cascades at the other. It is the lowest of the three sets of waterfalls formed along the river Krka.

Roški Slap is the second most popular attraction of the national park Krka in terms of numbers of visitors. These cascades can be visited throughout the year. The most attractive way to reach Roški Slap is to take one of the excursion boats operated by the national park Krka, although the falls can also be reached with a public road. And last one national park attraction is small island Visovac but about it in the next point.

6. Island Visovac, national park Krka

Inside the park is the island Visovac which was founded during the reign of Louis I. of Hungary, home to the Roman Catholic Visovac Monastery founded by the Franciscans. Amazing little place, looks like it is all alone in the world. You can go their and see inclose that little piece of heaven and enjoy in it. Really enjoy.

7. Nature park Telašćica, island Dugi Otok

Telašćica is a bay that is situated in the southeastern portion of the island of Dugi Otok in the Adriatic sea. It is a designated nature park, full of wildlife and sea creatures. The northeastern side of the bay is completely bare, but the southwestern shore is covered in thick forest of pine, olive and fig trees. This amazing nature park is known because of its cliffs and it is definitely one of the top and "must see" destinations.

8. The castle Trakošćan, northern Croatia, Varaždin county

Trakošćan Castle is a castle that dates back to the 13th century (first written mention is in 1334). Trakošćan was built in the 13th century within Croatia's northwestern fortification system, as a rather small observation fortress for monitoring the road from Ptuj to Bednja Valley. According to a legend, Trakošćan was named after another fortification (arx Thacorum) that was alleged to have stood in the same spot back in antiquity. Another source claims that it was named after the knights of Drachenstein who were in control of the region in early Middle Ages. It is Croatian most attractive and beautiful castle.

9. National park Plitvice lakes, Lika-Senj county

National park Plitvice lakes are one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. In 1979, Plitvice lakes was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. National park is well known because of 16 beautiful lakes, all with different size and depth. One of another amazing Croatian destination and well visited too.

10. Red lake / Blue lake, Imotski

Red lake is karst cave filled with water near city Imotski. Depth of the lake was measured in 1998. and it was 287 meters and it was deepest lake in the Europe! The lake was created after collapse of the arch above the pit. There is a legend about Gavanov castles, according to which in a past there were castles above lake which fell down and that is the story how red lake was created.

Red lake got the name because of red rocks which are on the edge of the lake. 2013. lake has depth of 255 meters.

Blue Lake is a karst lake located near Imotski in southern Croatia. Like the nearby Red lake it lies in a deep sinkhole possibly formed by the collapse of an enormous underground cave. The total depth from the upper rim is around 220 meters, while water depth varies with season. In spring, when the snow from surrounding mountains melts, it can reach 90 m, and in 1914 it reached 114 m, overflowing the southern rim. The lake is a popular destination for hiking and sight-seeing. At the end of the summer the lake may completely disappear.

11. National park Kornati, west from Å ibenik

National park Kornati are declared national park 1980. and that year were put under UNESCO World Heritage. Total area is 220 square kilometers and consist of 89 islands, small islands and reefs. From whole park area ¼ is land, and rest of it is part of sea ecosystem. Vertical cliffs, called “crowns”,facing the sea and makes popular phenomenon of this park.
